VNL Weather App Reviews

Even though a new version has been pushed out, this app has barely changed. Its disappointing that its still not optimized for any iPhone 6 screen resolution and that some framework is still just as buggy. I rarely use this app, and at this point will probably get rid of it since I havent seen any progress.

Your new REQUIREMENT that I geolocation and select a specific location has just switched me from a VNL weather user to WDAY. I WILL NOT give you my specific location under any circumstances. Making that requires completely turned me off. That should be optional.

Your new design is why designers should be taught that anyone over 50 cant read small type. The daily outlook is worse than it was--why shouldnt it look like it does on tv?? Those are clear graphics and readable. I feel like Im reading just a lot of text on this new design. Also, and it may be specific to my iPhone 5s, I dont know--but on the multi-day forecast, when you click on a particular day to see that forecast, many times the last few words or sentences are missing--it doesnt accommodate for the entire paragraph. That is REALLY annoying. FIX IT.

When you click on a certain to get detailed weather it always brings up the next day instead. Annoying. Iphone6s

Not sure why they changed it. The last original version was laid out much better. VNL Weather was the only weather app I used, not anymore. Disappointed.

This is the worst laid out weather app I have seen. You cant see the print because its too small and it white letters on a light blue background. Bring back the old version! I no longer will use it on my Ipad, thankfully I never updated my phone.

Old version was much better. I am not sure why there is a trend towards soft transitions between information but it makes it much more difficult to read and process information quickly.
